Plantronics Backbeat Fit - $89.90 from Mobileciti.com.au

80

First post so don't hammer me too hard. Long time lurker and came across this deal at mobileciti.

Bluetooth sports headphones that get reasonable reviews. Whilst not the best, at this price you cannot complain too much. Price match at officeworks for an additional 5% off ($85.40), subject to stock at store.

Mobileciti also has 24% off ($74.99) Jabra Sports Plus sports headphones also if these bad boys aren't your cup of tea.

Great Christmas idea for the gadget inclined if you have already gone the fitness band route previously.

  • Was going to post this a few weeks ago but couldn't summons the enthusiasm. I was watching these on Amazon through Black Friday sales and they stayed at around $120USD+ shipping. I did a search of Australian prices and low and behold Mobileciti has the best price by a bit so ordered the blue pair. Pretty satisfied with the quality. $6.95 shipping if you can't be bothered going the Officworks route.

  • I have been thinking about getting these and in the end opted for Jaybird Bluebuds X. A bit more expensive, but seem to be getting better feedback overall.
This is a good deal though for people who want these.

    • They both get good feedback, I think the bigger discriminator is in ear vs over/on ear. Whichever you prefer is the way you should go. I personally prefer over ear for better security while you exercise.

      • That's the thing though, i don't exercise much at all and that is not the reason behind the purchase. I would use them to day to day stuff only, but i want BT and IEM since i don't like the cans at all.

I hate wired ones because i keep getting cought up on the cable and rip the phone out of my hands which is how i dropped and broke my last phone, so BT/wireless is a must have.

I don't like the cans because i think they are just ugly and just simply not for me. I have Sennheiser MM 550-X currently and really don't like them.

So therefore a BT IEM's is the way to go and options are fairly limited, but i narrowed it down to these 2.

Happy to look at any alternatives if anyone can suggest some? :)

        • I got a pair of Jabra Pulse. Not the cheapest. $169 but it does have a heart rate monitor in them.

          Good sound quality.

  • Ordered a pair last week as an xmas gift for someone. Delivery was nice and prompt.

  • Does a S5 fit in the armband?

  • I bought a pair of Jabra Pulse and they are good iem. Fits in the ear well and good sound quality. However they fit too well and block out background noise a little too well. They do have heartrate monitor as well.

I have Plantronic backbeat+. Did the job for 2+ years. however mine has a wierd tone shift these days. Does not really bother me when I am running. they also look like hearing aid
