iPod Nano 4th Generation 16GB $169.00!

180

Went into JB-HIFI(RINGWOOD)Inside the apple display was 4th gen(so not the new model) 16gb ipod nano for only $169.00. Now i know its not the latest with the camera etc, but for that price im sure people out there will benefit from it considering you cant even get the new model 8gb for anywhere near thar price!

Speaking to the girl she said stock was limited and colors varied from store to store, so your best bet is to either call ahead or visit a few stores. Colors were mainly Orange, Yellow and another color but cannot remember.

NOTE: The price is not listed on their website, so you will have to go instore.

  • this was at jbhifi chatswood too. I was crying when i saw it because i paid $100 more at the start of the year lol

  • Good price! We have the skin for it on our store for only $5.50 as well!

Same price as Apple referb with free shipping… i personally find shopping online easier! same warranty. anyone in aus has access.

    • Yes but referbs aren't "new" new. This one is still in it's original packaging so it's a great deal for anyone who doesn't really need the extra features of the new nanos.

Agreed, but refurbs are practically new, with new casing and new batteries. You get a small rebate through MBC and you also get free shipping (for those who can't get to this JB store) and (maybe) a better choice of colors.

Still, a good deal for a brand new unit.

still, the components can be almost 2 years old.

@Davo1111: This model didn't exist 13 months ago, so not really ;)

  • I wonder what happened to all the unsold G4 nanos that were still in circulation when the G5 came out - there must have been a heap of them all over the place in various stores (and not just in yellow and orange colours). Where do they all go …

No where. I work @ a retailer and we know Apple are launching new iPod's because we can't order any stock for a while before and by launch date we only have 1 or 2 units left if that. Of course, everyone who cares to find out know that iPod's are generally refreshed in September anyway. But yeah, they trickle the stock to retailers, so there's little left over inventory. Then day after launch you get a huge shipment with the new lot.

      • good to know, thanks

  • yeah great price for people who dont need a camera and what not.

  • great price.

  • overpriced they could be had for 129 from CSW

    • must be in store price, cos i can't see it online
