True about the Phillips however the bulb isn't replacable with those units you have to buy a whole new unit once it's used up. This one is replaceable and given its clearance there might be some great prices on the bulbs
It's exactly 1.500 flashes. The bulb has a counter in it.
You can order replacement bulbs from Amazon for quite cheap.
Bulb around $60
But do they actually work ?
They have another model that has a lamp that lasts much longer (65000 flashes)

Got it for $499 from the Shavershop eBay. Thought it would be great but it didn't work on my girlfriend (who has the ideal skin/hair).
Make sure you are covered by the 90 day test refund offer.
The flash lamp "last up to 1500 flashes", this is very low. The Philips ones, most lasted around 50000. Possibly not a bargain!
