Huffy, now there is a brand name I haven't heard of since primary school.

  • *Product Weight: 19kg
At least they must have used a lot of steel :)

I did include that at the bottom of my post!

  • Makes you wanna buy the 'mountainbike' after reading not for off road use

Oh my god, at $119 it's costing you $100 more than it is worth.

Please do not purchase this and expect to EVER enjoy riding it.

I humbly admit to having purchased a hi-ten huffy with dual suspension. It was awful to ride, everything went wrong due to the inferior quality parts, tl:dr it sucked.

It was replaced with an $80 secondhand hybrid bike (Giant brand) that was much more enjoyable/rewarding to ride.

If you are going to buy a cheap bike stick to front only or no suspension, cheap DS bikes are gabage.

This is not a "mountain bike". If you try to go off-road it will fall apart. It probably even has a small warning sticker with words to that effect.

Just go to K-mart if you want a cheap bike for occasional on-road use. And it might even be cheaper and lighter than this boat-anchor.

Neg as k-mart and others have cheaper, better MTB-style bikes. Rear-suspension is most certainly NOT a benefit at this price-point.

  • Heavier than a Russian tractor, weaker than a wet tissue, rear suspension on cheap bikes are a no-no.

Supermarket bikes can be ok for the intended purpose but some are not worthwhile. Choose carefully.

  • How the hell did my comment get removed…

It is definately over-priced for what it is, half the price and it might be reasonable… better off with a 2nd hander

  • Do not get a cheap dual suspension bike, you will be so much better of with a front suspensions or no suspension bike with this. And if you took it downhill it would break.

Hopefully it holds together for my 750m ride to the train station!

    • Plenty of $60 specials turn up with the same spec that will do that :)
