  • I am guessing this is a reseller? or own servers?

Just a heads up for those that download a lot.. I bought a $5/usd unlimited account last year in the black friday sales, and around about august, my account was deleted. Couldn't log in, support wouldn't respond to any of my tickets.. Searching around I found out that they just delete people's account if you download too much.. whatever that 'too much' is is anyone's guess.. Have been using frugal usenet since for about $5/mth..

    • I bought the exact same unlimited account last black friday, and it's still going strong. I probably average ~30-50g a week, which potentially makes me a lightweight :)

      • Yes, yes it does ;)

    • I bought last year at 4.99/month and have had no issues. Use approx 1 to 2TB per month

Yeah I got deleted/booted only about 1 month ago, so got 11 months out of the $5USD deal.

Just signed up again for the new $5.99/USD account. Was happy with Thundernews in the last year.

Thanks OP, block account is what I was waiting for!

  • I've been with them a few years, close to 1TB a month. No issues to report.

    • Yeah from reading around the place in a few forums etc it seems somewhat random.

  • I got the boot after hitting over 1tb after many months of 500-900 gigs. They shaped my speed and denied doing this.

I cancelled my account earlier this year because everything I was trying to download (using Thundernews) was being deleted and not completing. And yes, I was using private indexers. My advice, get a seedbox instead.
