Been checking out the youtube clips, one has a guy using it on grassy hills, others using it in forest paths. That writer at Techradar just needs more experience.
The specs on the ebay page say the maximum incline is 18 degrees for a 60kg person so you'd think that would be pretty limited to going downhill.
These a big in China atm, I saw heaps of them in Shanghai. Not suitable for hilly cities like sydney though.
Yes, the recent Shanghai toy expo was showcasing them heavily to buyers. So if you can wait about a month, there will be significantly more competition on shore, with better local pricing.
