Have not tried it yet but had been looking for a dictionary for a while. Other apps available too but I though this was worth a separate mention

    • Possibly.. I did see that one when it was posted but missed the oxford dictionary at that time.

    • Since the original post has multiple items, this satisfies our duplicate exception

      • fair enough…, but what if the original poster had targeted multiple specific items, and someone just reposts one of them, does it become a dupe ? bcoz the original post is a pack/set of apps which were clearly listed…

        • If the second post is also a list, then it's still a dupe of the first post.

  • Yep… worth a separate mention imo. Works well :-)

  • Interestingly, for sale on Amazon's AU site, but not their US one.

    • Wait until late tonight…….

Is this the full version? The definitions seem to be very brief.

I got the Oxford Advanced Learner's dictionary from the previous Amazon app store sale. It was the full version. It was much better than the free dictionaries. I guess you can always go to the website, but this is more convenient, doesn't require an internet connection, good for cheating when the exam room has bad mobile signal.

    • this does not require internet to search, download the database if u prefer to use offline

  • It's exactly what I need. Nice find, thank you.
