  • so is it used or not used…. Condition is "As New!" confirms neither.

    • "As new" would imply used otherwise they would just say "new", no?

      • They don't say new because that would imply the packaging is 'new' as well. But as it is damaged, they say 'as new'

    • They are new, they just have damaged packaging is all. I've heard of other stores just throwing products like this out as they can't sell them in "Brand new" condition. Shopping express are just selling them for a discounted price and can't put the "Brand New" tag on it because of the damaged packaging. But otherwise it is a brand new product (from reading the sale description and form what I know in general). Hope that helps

Sorry gotta be honest here, the gigabyte 3 fan designed cards are so goddamned noisy, it's the worst. MSI smashes them for noise.

    • Ha, I have a Gigabyte R9 280x myself, It's not that noisy for me, and I'm sure maybe the MSI one is quieter, but the Gigabyte card I own is VERY good at dicipating heat! I'd take that over quietness any day

      • I had exactly that card, 3 fans and it was a disgrace personally. I'd rather pony up $40 more and have something which sounds reasonable.

    • I have the 290 Windforce and I guess the noise level ramps up quite a bit but I never notice it since I just use speakers and drowns pretty much all the noise.

  • only around $50 cheaper than other Radeon R9 290?

    • This particular card is $35 cheaper than the next cheapest Gigabyte r9 290 according to staticice.com.au, it's not too big of a gap, but for someone building a pc for the first time, I think it's a pretty good deal

      • We can get a used Gigabyte R9 290 on Amazon for AUD $339.60 delivered.

Tack on the $10.55 shipping set by shopping express, this one is $360.55 delivered. Given that it's an Australian vendor, which would make warranty claims significantly easier, I'd go with this open box card even though it's around $20 more.

  • Is the Never Settle rewards available for this?
