I also had issues when I tried to use a $10 menulog voucher. The restaurant was listed as "coupons accepted" but refused to grant me the discount. They claimed that a previous customer (at a different address) had used an expired coupon and menulog would not reimburse them.
I love being able to order food online, as I can be sure that my order and address details were received properly.
I received good food, and I would use menulog again, but there are still a few kinks to be sorted out. Do not count on getting the new customer discount.
Last time I used this voucher, the Restaurant had no idea about Menulog and REFUSED TO HONOR THE $10 VOUCHER!
I told them to honor it "or else". They still refused.
So reported them as having cockroch-infested premises on:
1300 552 406
and they promptly did a Health Inspection of their premises.
Nice revenge!
