Got this in my email. It is an active filter for chlorine, scale and softening water. Never really thought about changing my shower head, not familiar about prices so I had a look at Bunnings. (http://www.bunnings.com.au/our-range/bathroom-plumbing/bathr…)
Never realised it was so pricey… Anyway, this is the lowest its been according to 3xcamel.

I'd want to know what the mounting thread is - Yanks have a preference for NPT whereas BSP is standard in Australia AFAIK…that's even if its the same nominal size.
And anyway, where does all the chlorine/'chemicals' go if they're filtered out by this tiny thing ? And why does it need a battery ?
