Just registered a new .com domain with coupon and checked out OK.
Not a bad deal, remember to turn off auto-renewal and transfer it away before the year is up.

GoDaddy account settings!
Wow no neg posts about how Godaddy is an awful company and supported Sopa until enough people transferred away from them that it hurt their wallet and then flipped support on it? I can't neg it because technically it's priced decently but If you decide to support them just know what kind of business and business practices you'll be supporting.
Very unhappy transaction with godaddy, as I hv bought $5.99 per month for website builder; but when I renew 2nd months the price goes up to $11.99, but when u paid first bill they wont let u know how much u pay of renew.
Yeah, that's the most annoying part of godaddy. Auto-renew is on and hardly any discount on renewal. Same for these, it is great the first year, but second year is back to the normal price.
Remember to disable auto-renew.
You are told multiple times that autorenew is enabled.
It is better nowadays (for domain name registrations). I thought if you paid by PayPal (I don't think you can with this special deal), they cannot auto renew it, but I was wrong - they can auto renew, even with PayPal.
However, GoDaddy do allow you to transfer out quite easily. Really wish they would offer a better deal for renewals.
The last time I forgot to turn off auto renew, and it renewed, I just emailed them and I was store credited the full amount so still got plenty to use for these small registration prices.
So your neg has nothing to do with this deal?
I must have already used that code as it worked until I signed in. I've never had a drama with GD.
Haven't done anything like this before, but would like to use it for demo purposes. How do I go about turning off the auto-renewal and transferring it?
