thanks - deal updated :)
These are Aldi's normal prices for these items.
Just because they don't sell them all the time does not make them a bargain.
A quality product for sale anywhere at a better price? Bargain in my book :-)
Most so called discounts are only from inflated prices in the first place.
A fake discount does not guarantee a bargain.
If Aldi's "sale" products were available more often than 2-3 times a year then I'd agree but the time limited nature of them and the fact that generally they are considered good value/quality means that they constitute a deal/bargain.
Coke goes on sale every second week - so no bargain?
Domino's deals every week? so no bargain?
Myer sale every second day - so no bargain?
Dick Smith 10-15% every hour - so no bargain
Dick Smith eneloops on sale until next sale - no bargain?
More importantly just released 50 page booklets from Amazon free (reduced from $10) ARE not a bargain.
All your examples can be shown to have a 'saving' amount from the normal price.
Aldi's price though is the normal price. There is no saving.
the fact from previous deal:

and compare to my response on the same post.
coles after discount $9.99 aldi "don't sell all the time" $8.99
coles promo dettol is still bit expensive compare to aldi, in which they don't sell them all the time…. which i think it is a bargain…
well, this is my personal view, but i might be wrong compare to others…
Has anyone here who's actually bought an underwater compact camera - any brand at all - had it last with moderate use for over a year without leaking and becoming and expensive paperweight?
My Panasonic Lumix TS something made it exactly 362 days, then died. When I tried to claim a refund, I was told it wasn't covered because it happened in the Amazon, which has 'different water'.
I got a refund. Idiots.
I wouldn't recommend one. Even before it died, it was pretty average. Apparently the Olympus model is the one to get these days.
My wife's Fuji XP150 was AWFUL. Very hard to close the battery/card door and when it leaked within the warranty period I still had no recourse as water incursion wasn't covered….ON A WATERPROOF CAMERA!!???! In the end I wore the cost….I think it was $180. Not buying another. It effectively got used 4 times. I had asked my wife to treat it as splashproof, but the temptation to take shots underwater with a camera made for the purpose was too much for her to resist. When I went online to look at other waterproof cameras it was pretty much the same story all round. I consider the underwater compact to be a con.
How to tell if these binocs are good:

I think you will find the Camera is on sale on Wednesday (22nd) not Saturday
