looks like it's way out of date but for $5 I'd grab it if it was in a store near me :( anyway cheapest GPS I've ever seen.

These units are running Windows CE6.0 so you should be able to hack them to load alternative software and up to date maps.
Glebe and Pitt St, Sydney stores may both have stock. Nothing in the Wollongong/Sydney Southern area tho.

I just bought 2 at the Bunbury store. They said there are 8 more out the back, but I think the staff were pretty interested in buying them all.
Most smartphones include this function for free anyway. I actually have a paid GPS app on my phone but often use either apple or google maps for directions

I was luck enough to score one!
problem was I type in my home address (from the OW carpark), followed directions and I got LOST!!
Managed to score from Chirnside Park VIC which was showing Limited Stock, what they had is the display unit which I don't mind getting.
It comes with a mini USB wall charger, a mini USB car charger, a separate mini USB cable (thrown in for free), suction cup etc.
The cables and the chargers themselves combined are easily worth $5 already!

Nope, staff didn't buy them. I called about noon and they had two left, both in opened packages. Got there at two pm and bought both. Only one of them worked. Neither had an AC charger which was no big deal
Thanks to some digging on the internet (and software skills), I managed to get them both working. Terrible routing algorithm and maps are years out of date, speed limits are all wrong too. Once I get into WinCE I can change to better software.
