Like many others, missed out on the Rocksmith Game + Guitar bundle few months back.

Looking everywhere to find the game and then the guitar. Finally got the Xbox Rocksmith 2014 with cable on ebay during the 15% off.

Need a guitar. Went to JB, but did not like the finish of the $118 (special at the moment).

Just remembered Icon Music - knew them when looking
for a drum kit last time for my little one.

Looked up their guitar online and find this guitar was on special. Went to their shop and bought one. Definitely worth $99. Very happy with the finish and quality of the electric guitar. Very friendly and professional customer service.

Been learning guitar this long weekend. Hope it helps if you are after one as well.

  If you're confident you're going to drop guitar after a month or so - by all means - this is an excellent buy.

  If you intend to play guitar any longer than that, or even if you think you may continue playing guitar for the years to come (maybe even if you're considering 'upgrading' to a new guitar in the near future should you choose to go down this path); you'd seriously appreciate spending a little more on a better budget guitar - something such as an Epiphone LP-100 which usually hover around the $200 range. Mahogany body compared to the listed basswood body; presuably better pickups (agl65 pickups aren't listed); a overall better built guitar - etc etc. Chances are strongly in the favour whilst still a budget guitar; the Epi will play better than the Ashton OOB (not to mention if a setup is done to the guitar which drastically improves thte feel of a guitar is done)

  Even better if you can stretch for something like an Epiphone LP Standard. Those things are the most fantastic guitars price/quality wise one can buy.

    I agree. LP100 or the next above LP100.. or if you are a strat-body guy.. Ibanez.. these brands have entry level guitars or even bundles (with Amps)
