However, we didn't expect this deal was shared to OZB, so we only have 220 in stock. The first 220 orders will be shipped out before Oct 1. Since the National Day in China is coming soon (7 days holiday), we don't expect the next batch of G1W-C to be back in stock any day before the Oct 8.         it's just odd that although 5 were bought it was shipped out in 2 packages, and one of the packages has no tracking info at all almost a week later.

        one of the packages does indeed look like it will deliver today so that one im not worried about :)

        Netherlands Post is one of the shipping methods under the free shipping option, so I think it's standard for most of these deliveries to go through the Netherlands.
        Most of the tracking numbers posted including mine are the same.

    Mine went to France according to the tracking no. they provide, they keep asking me to wait few more days until they sort out, it has been 23 days since they posted, very very dissapointed , will never buy from them again

    • I placed an order on Sep 24 (even before this post), got notification of shipping out on Sep 29 with tracking number with the Netherlands Post Registered. One month later I haven't got it and it turns out that mine went to France!? Contacted them but no reply so far.

        No information at all from their reply. I will wait for 10 more days (i.e. 45 days since order confirmation) to claim the money back from paypal and open my complaints on this thread.

    So I paid like 15% extra for 'Expedited Shipping' which is DHL/FEDEX/IB according to their homepage.

    Then it shipped with CAxxxx tracking number early last week, raised question as it doesn't look like one of above couriers.

    They replied it is UPS yet the tracking number doesn't work on UPS page either so asked about where to track then it's some idunno what company:

    Publishing falsified information -/ Lying to customer's enquiry

    It's probably not an issue if you willing to wait for postage free service but I'd say there's something dodge in it.

          It wasn't even Direct Debit, it was a Mastercard CC… Amazing.

          How is it that more than 2 orders were sent to the wrong destination, priority shipping requested was not used and tracking numbers are given almost a week before anything officially shows?

    • Update: I received mine yesterday, more than a month since ordering. The postnl tracking number they provided was not correct, the actual tracking number on the parcel is different. Using the tracking number on the parcel, it turns out that the item arrived at postnl sorting centre on Oct-13, more than 2 weeks since they notified me the item was shipped out.
      Credit to gearbest that they did send the DVR to me but slightly disappointed with their delivery process and customer service.

  • Order placed when the deal came out, something went wrong with it and payment didn't go through and got an automatic reminder 1 or 2 weeks later and payed for it then. Tracking never worked -details not found or something like that.
    Just received it today (28/10/14) using free shipping.
    Quickest thing i have received from GearBest. Still waiting for that 3.5mm headphone plug button.
    EDIT- Just found out that you can use the tracking number given by GearBest on the PostNL website. Its the same code which is on the package. http://www.postnl.post/tracktrace

  • this company is a joke seriously, first of all telling me " i selected Flat Rate Shipping and didn't request a tracking number" which is not true as it was default to "with tracking number". Then, after few emails, gave me a tracking number saying that it should arrive in 10-25 days. Checked the tracking number, it says arrived in France from Netherland. Has been 28 days since, still no sign of parcel. Emailed them again, and now telling me again oh " u selected Flat Rate Shipping and didn't request a tracking number" so, no tracking number, please wait few more days & check with post office.
    I am sick of it, escalate a paypal claim and they can deal with it.

    Regret that I didn't read all comments carefully before placing order for an A118 on 10/10! Paid for "expedited" shipping (was told DHL will be used) nothing happened for 10 days, requested to cancel order then was advised order has been shipped. Of course tracking no. is just a joke. It goes nowhere. Ah sorry to see I'm not alone here!

    Have hard wired the camera in the car and just reviewed the footage on my 60 inch tv and WOW picture is fantastic. Great buy.

      How did you hard wire it? The car gives 12v and this is supposed to run on 5v!! I wanted to hard wire it too, but decided to add another 12v socket instead and plug in there.

      • I think it is advertised to support only up to 32gb but many people have used larger ones without issue.

        • That's what I was going on, I hadn't read that other people had been able to install larger ones though, although I haven't looked into it as I have a 32GB card ready to go.

  • just wonder someone can help me with this. The manual says, red light lits when u turn on the device. And blue light lits when its charging. How do I charge it? or do I have to charge it? When I plug to the power source, the screen turn on automatically and red light lits up. Then , when I turn the screen off , no blue light shows up at all.
    When the screen is on, the battery symbol keeps flashing, probably indicates low battery , need charging or something? so, is there a battery inside that we need to charge it before start using? or basically just plug in cig hole and start using, just disregard the flashing battery symbol?

      It's because it can't charge since there is no battery! The firmware is same as the one that uses a battery.. Therefore it acts funny since this doesn't have a battery.

  • My radio has interference in both car i fitted these cameras in. I extended the power to 2 sockets in the car from the back of the cigarette lighter and then pluged the provided adaptor into it. I have 2 cameras in each car.

    Any one else have this or any idea how to solve?

    • I've had this issue with the last G1W-H i bought, as well as a Mobius dash cam i also bought.

      Haven't tried yet with my G1W-C but yes this is known to happen to a select few peoples makes of cars i believe.

      Cheap chinese cabling, cheap chinese cigarette USB adapter, cheap circuitry and shielding, all contribute to these devices being able to interfere with your car radio.

      some things I've tried that in some cases 'help' reduce the interference, and in others get rid of it almost entirely.

      1) Purchase a non-cheap-chinese-made USB/MiniB cable
      2) Purchase a non-cheap-chinese-made cigarette USB adapter
      3) Buy some ferrite cores (you can get from rs-online (google them) to snap onto the cable at each end
      4) try change the 'frequency' setting on the cameras settings, i believe you can swap between 60 and 50mhz, no idea if this will help but its worth a try.

      best of luck… it interferes with some cars radios and not others, in the testing ive done when I had this issue.

      the fix in one of my cars was a brand name USB cigarette adapter and some quality USB/MiniB cable, i guess the cheap ones produce interference. I had to try several different usb cables and cigarette adapters before I found a combination that produced no interference.
      very unhappy with that being allowed.
