        Yes, parking mode is just a feature and not an extra installation.

        I installed front and rear cam with a hk4 hardwire kit.

      I've done it on two cars (an old Subaru and a new Audi). The first one was simple, the second one was a pain in the arse for a number of reasons including difficult to remove panel clips, airbag placement and difficulty finding fuses that stay on during parking. Both installations were ultimately a success.
