It's rubbish you can say it :-)
I'd rather spend a few more dollars and get a decent A/V and firewall than very little and end up with problems - might as well have spent nothing at all. Still, $10 for 5 PC's A/V protection PLUS a USB - how they make any money off that is beyond me (probably don't).
I use free avast, best free anti-virus software, even better than some expensive software. some antivirus do kill virus, but kill my PC together…
I personally use, and love, Avira AntiVir Personal, which too is free. With avast, I always noticed constant hard disk utilisation. AntiVir also performs well in independent reviews. I guess everyone has their own favourite - some will swear by AVG. ;-)
One year ago I had CA on my computer which then got a virus and the computer was unbootable in a day. I then spent 3 whole days reloading windows, drivers and all the software. I would advise to go for a good anti-virus (I am not necessarily saying CA is bad)and forget about saving $30 or whatever. Try to get a program that picks up most viruses.
