I was looking at buying a Bromic gas heater a few months back, but decided against it for a number of reasons, but the unit itself was reasonably priced at $299.

But, the point is that $284 is cheaper than the competition, is lower than it previously was … and you get a discount on top of that.

YMMV - I did see a few WTF prices (eg. the glowing kettle that everyone else sells for $30-$40) was about $80-$90 (don't remember exactly).
