      Kids(even adults) are curious about light source and they put the light at eyes by inertial. Don't know why.
      The best way is to keep kids from such kind of lights or tell them not to do that.

      PS. Such kind of light won't blind people. :)

      Not permanent blind, that's lasers - especially green ones over 0.5w for sure.

      But LEDs, just a ten second blindness and maybe a bit of a headache for a short while if they stupidly try to stare in to it.

      Can just imagine this becoming a meme like the Ice Bucket challenge and Cinnamon Challenge etc. Kids today!

        Can you elaborate on the delivery issue please? My last order with you guys was for a torch and a pair of 18650's, it has never arrived. It was apparently reshipped a month ago and that has not arrived yet either.. Looks like i'm never going to get it!

          these batteries are a fire/explosion risk and most airlines wont carry them after the whole malasian airlines plane going missing (because if probably onboard fire)

          also tmarts 18650's are crap. about 1/10th of advertised capacity (buy a 4000mah battery really only get a 400mah battery) they sell "protected" cells which are really unprotected and thus fire/explosion risk.

          unless you know what your doing id probably steer clear of lithium type batteries, specially cheap ones

          Not saying this is what happened but a few Xmases ago, I bought some
          coat hangers which were fashioned like shurikens.

          ie. when hung up, it looks like it was embedded in the wall.

          It never arrived after months.

          I chased it up and apparently, customs seized it and there was
          no notification or notification got lost or whatever.

          Not sure if this would apply to batteries as well.

      Fasttech are delivering 18650s when they are in stock. I ordered on the 29th of July, and received them on the 11th of August so takes a while. FWIW I also ordered some from DX on May 30th and they never showed up.

      In a torch that apparently has 1600 lumens, you may not want it on high all the time, it would chew the battery like nothing! I prefer having multiple settings but I do agree my Dolphin torch that has on and off is perfectly fine!

        I won't buy torches that click through levels again. Having to click through every level to turn the torch off is a pain.
        Better quality torches have a separate button or a long press to change function, but for a cheapy, I reckon just on and off is better.

    1600 lumens MY ARSE. A friend of mine is into torches and says it just is not possible. I mean, an LED Lenser of this size is about 160 lumens. How can this cheapy Chinese brand do 10x that for a quarter of the price?

    Checkout did not take me through the step to set shipping address.
    It was an option to set that in paypal which I did.

    After I click the final button theres a final message about Default shipping address in TMart being used not the one I selected in Paypal.

    Hellva time to let someone know, after the order is finalised.
    Why not add the usual step about address in check out process.

    I've lodged a ticket and someone will get back to me in 24 hours.
    Just noticed I never got my headphones from last October, same thing must've happened there.
    I'm going to ask for a refund :-\

        My Default address is not the current one and was happy to change it manually as will be back at that location soon. This is second time I used your site in a year.

        So I changed it when it launches paypal becsuse that was the first forced confirmation of address so when paypal opens and asks for my paypal pass it confirms the address there.

        Before confirming in paypal you can change the address.

        Apparently that has no effect.

        Making the warning after coming back from paypal is too late.

        Yes I can see shipping address in the basket only its not a "Step I have to take". I guess I'm an idiot at 5am and need protection from myself (which I am used to from virtually all shopping sites).

        If not making it a "step" like Dick smith then at least be a confirmation of the address before going to paypal, "after" is definitely too late and certainly not some cryptic reminder that default address will be used. A popup should actually state the address it will be sent to and before going to paypal.

        Buy something on Bang Good and you'll see what I mean (a confirmation box with address pops up when you click PayPal button). I would have got caught there just now but for that.

    I got another cheapy AA torch with it too but it's pretty sh*thouse build quality.

      Just tried it out with 3 AAA batts, seems pretty bright, the 5 modes work well. Just need to give it a go at night time now, see if that 500m range is all it's cooked up to be.
      Seems to get a bit warm after a few minutes of operation, don't know if it's detrimental at all…

      Got mine yesterday. Is great for the price.

      0.5km range - lol. Mine transmits to the moon (384,400km), no lie, just use the Hubble telescope to see the pinprick of light.
