Look at money bags over here with his fake money
Can also store fake Aldi products. Like M&M Munchers, Red Rock Deli Blackstone and CCs Eltora.
Was reading as… Finally you can spend your fake money on fake safe… XD
fake on fake feels so real
Checks out. Fake has negative connotations. Two negatives makes a positive. So two levels of fake makes it real.
Thank you deanmoriarty!
Fake safe
Good luck Lock Picking Lawyer
It's a fake can of tomatoes not fake safe
For fake safe, why would anyone need a fake safe?
To lure innocent robbers in and hit them with your poverty
To avoid people stealing their can of tomatoes
But I would hide my tomatoes in a can of tomatoes
As a kid I would have loved this sort of stuff as a place to hide my secrets.
As a teen I would have put weed in it
As an adult…?
Don't leave us hanging.
Is a fake safe an unsafe?
The safe identifies as can of tomatoes
This should make it easy for burglers to locate valulable items. "Oh there's that fake can of tomatoes I saw shopping at Aldi last week".
"My teenage son really must love spaghetti"
You're supposed to buy some real cans of tomatoes and store the fake one stacked at the bottom at the back of the shelf.
Fake safe, gunna keep my family jewels in it.
Nothing gives you a false sense of security like a fake safe
Bought a basic "fake safe" can @Poundland ($2 shop) in UK. Also sold here @Temu, eBay etc.
Just an empty baked beans can, with a removable base. Easily disguised with other tins.
Was used to store spare keys.
Worked well until someone grabbed it to cook baked beans… Used the ring pull top & opened it!
But a can with a lock - they'll just take the can.
They're banking on the fact those pesky youth criminals will have no interest in books.
It's true. I remember this from when I was living in London.

Gold. I liked the photo from the "mostly peaceful" protests in Minneapolis where they looted the Target but the father's day cards were left untouched.
they should just make a safe in a form of a manual car gearbox.
lol good one.
So people can't just grab the fake can and fake book with them during a robbery?
A fake can is a can’t, so no.
Oh that's true. My bad fam.
I'm too scared I'll pour my family jewels into the bolognese sauce
Got excited then dashed quickly. I really want Aldi to do a PoE DVR/camera system.
Really? Imagine the after sales support.
I have my reasons. I used to install security cameras so I have a good understanding, just not the cash to splash on a 2.5k+ Dahua or Hikvision kit. If Aldi can do PoE then I can at least transfer whatever cameras I buy over to the pro stuff when I can afford.
Have a look at Reolink, works well.
@Flutterby: Wow prices are quite good, have you got one yourself? I have heard of Reolink but zero experience with their equipment, if you put it up there with hikvision and dahua then im happy to jump on something like that instead. Appreciate the heads up!
@doobey1231: Yes. All set up with Reolink with a 8 channel DVR.
(Takes 2 HHDs oppose to one in the lesser channel one)
The DVR supports wired and wireless as setup.
I have a full wired setup with DVR blocked from internet access, basically only accessible whilst connects to the wifi network.
HDD in the DVR is tiny. So replaced both with a higher capacity one.
Suggest to mix and match the cameras separately to your needs.
@Flutterby: Sounds perfect! thank you so much, they confidently beat the other mobs its very impressive.
Great…I can hide all my hundreds of Eneloops now.
Thanks, needed a safe to keep the money saved from yesterdays interest rate cut
I hide the money under my mattress
i am a mattress inspector, what's your address please?
I like how small they are, it's almost as if they expect the poor fools who think these are a good idea not to have much.
It's all good until that burglar is looking for a copy of the english dictionary or can of tomatos.
Can just use those knorr chicken powder containers instead of buying the tomato can. The lock stops your housemate or kids from stealing? They can just take the whole can.
seriously what is the point of a lock and key for these devices? Does that somehow make it more secure? If a thief found your fake can of tomatoes, that lock is not going to stop them from getting to the contents.
Finally I have somewhere to hide my fake money
