64GB SSD + 500GB in dock vs 64GB SSDIt's not a huge difference but a little bit faster and you don't have to carry around a USB HDD if you want to have a reasonable amount of storage.
Good find. This cpu is +-23% faster according to a passmark score, should be noticeable with real world use. Also with the extra 500GB hhd storage in the base, it is only slightly heavier ( 10 Gram ), but on the plus I read a German review that mentions it makes this more stable ( less top heavy ) when using whilst docked with the keyboard in laptop mode.
I have a feeling the specs might be wrong on the weight difference. 2.5" HDDs are more than 100g. I suppose they might have some kind of counterbalance weight in the non-HDD ones but then why would the review find the one with the HDD more stable?
I ended up ordering one. When it arrives in 1-2 weeks I'll measure.

Again even cheaper if you dont mind refurbished. And keep in mind manufacture refurbish for Asus is as good as brand new.

That first one is in taiwan and has a chinese keyboard, How bout you do some research.
And what different does it make?
Asus have international warranty for their laptop/tablet.
They keyboard is a normal qwerty key board with added Chinese phonetic character as feature.

Can i just say manufacture refurbish for Asus is ANYTHING BUT as good as new. I bought a refurbish Asus laptop from america and the touchscreen dont work. Asus support me to send it back to America for repair at my own cost and i couldn't because auspost wont send anything overseas with lithium battery. So now i'm stuck with a touchscreen laptop without the touchscreen.

This is not a tablet, it's a tablet-ultrabook hybrid. As a pure tablet it'll be heavy and unwieldy. Not so bad that you'll never use it as a tablet, but if you're planning on using it almost exclusively as a tablet then it'd be a poor choice.
