Imation BD-R 25GB 6x - Pack of 10 for $10 @ Officeworks

80

Saw it in store with plenty of stock. Seems to be normal price (non-clearance) and comes in slim jewel cases.

Not on their website (yet?).

    MID: CMCMAG-BA5-000

Good on you, seriously. The most important piece of information for any optical media, the media identification code, and I believe this is the first time ever on OB that anyone has posted a deal for optical media and made it known exactly which media code they had.

For the record, these BD-Rs are made by CMC Magnetics; a company well-known for producing optical disc-looking coasters for your drinks (from time-to-time some actual recordable media may slip through the cracks in their manufacturing plants, but for the most part, they make coasters). Reviews of this media are here, here and here. Poor results as expected.

I'd upvote you, but any price for CMC Mags is not a bargain.

I agree with the quality of disk media, however at this price I couldn't resist getting a box. Generally Panasonic media is the way to go with BluRay for quality burns.

Actually not the first time media code has been published :)

Also worth noting that I believe officeworks is moving away from the imations and moving towards TDK's which are currently going for $15 for a box of 10 in store and on the site (which is not a bad price).
