Anyway it's kind of misleading, we have changed it to 33% OFF.
what is the NFC tag?
Its a small sticker which is used to activate the Cardboard app on your mobile… It's basically for lazy people because you can activate it yourself.
what's the difference between first and second generation?
First generation is cut with 3 pcs cardboard, the quality is not very good.
Second generation is the same to Google Cardboard origianl design , it's one pcs cut, the quality is better.

best $12 i spent. Yes the cardboard quality wasn't great, but it does the job and is a fantastic concept!
True you can make it yourself, but not sure how easy it is to find the lenses and magnets.
I might make my own cut out with better cardboard. Ironically, the cardboard package the thing was shipped in is actually better quality than the actual model!
Alternatively, buy two small cokes from Maccas and use the tray instead!
