Haven't used this particular model with the suction caps, but I've used a black QI charging pad with clips to hold the phone in place.
While the phone warmth from wireless charging isn't much of an issue indoors on a desk charger, it can significantly heat the phone up when its exposed to all the sunlight and a black charger. I suspect this might seriously impede the utility of suction caps, and in all honesty I think that the benefits of wireless charging in a car are minimal.
Also, negging for being available cheaper elsewhere.
I bought a similar(r possibly identical) one from ebay a couple of months ago. Did not last more than 10 times use.
