  • I can't read the script!

    • Hi, which script are you having trouble with? Your contact lens script?

  • I am wondering if you could tell me more about the difference between the 1 Day Acuvue Moist and the TruEye?

    • Hi Grimninja1604, both lenses are made by Johnson & Johnson and vary slightly in the materials they are made from but essentialy both are very popular brands in the daily disposable range. With contact lenses, each brand will fit your eye differently which is why it is so important to have them fitted by an optometrist. For example, I recently tried 4 different brands with the same script and they all had a different comfort level as well as providing slightly different vision. Our optometrist assessed each of them whilst on my eye to determine the one which was the most suitable in terms of fit and vision. I would advise sticking with the prescription that you currently have and working with your optometrist if you are looking to try other brands. Hope that helps!

      • Cheers to the info. I normally where the Acuvue Moist so didn't know about the TruEye so thought would ask about the difference.

  • can you suggest which brand will fit my eye for a monthly set with a BC 8.7 and DIA 14.2. also if you could advise which brand would suit if i want color lens.

    • Hi jitesh_88, unfortunately we can't recommend contact lens brands as they need to be fitted by your optometrist. Each brand of contact lens can fit quite differently on your eye which is why your optometrist will assess each lens whilst it is on your eye and then form your prescription from there which also includes the brand. Sorry, we couldn't be of more help, it does sound like you are already wearing a specific brand though? As long as you're happy with how that fits, I'd suggest continuing with that brand. As for coloured contact lenses, the Freshlook range is our most popular.
