This is basically a big netbook, RIP $199 netbooks

While Passmark isn't the best benchmarking tool, http://puu.sh/alxx0.png

    • They are really slow slow end laptop.

Would have been an ok price if it was an Haswell i3 with 4G RAM. Certainly not with these crappy specs.

Edit: I will throw in some comparison.

J1900 is a Bay Trail Atom which could be found on the $100 SoC boards (eg. Asrock Q1900)
N2820 is a dual core bay trail which could be found on the Intel NUC

Pretty horrible score from the AMD even if you just want to do the most basic tasks.

    AMD, pffft.

  • dont touch this cpu with 10foot pole

  • Run away! With this cpu it need to be priced according to performance. Id say 200-250 mark. Ive used this cpu before and its sllllloooow.

  • Stay away slow computer.

Horrible specs including display resolution and CPU. It's 2.23kg as well :( It really is a netbook packed into a chunky laptop. I don't quite get what HP have done here.

I bought a very similar laptop 3 years ago for a cheaper price. Why have laptop prices stagnated (or even increased in some respect)?
