nice, power rating of 2000 mAh is pretty good, i bought 4xEnergizer for $15 rated at 2250 that didn't come with a charger.
To put it in perspective, a few years ago you would be happy with something like 800 mAh.
i think you might be confusing AAA with AA batteries. AAA are typically around the 800mah mark whilst AA are around the 2000mah mark. For AA 2000mah is average not "pretty good" as these days there are 2700mah AA's available which are alot better for the gazillion power hungry gadgets we all have. Similarly 950mah are now available for AAA.
FYI 2000mah AA batteries have been freely available since the turn of the millennium. 800mah AA's are so 1990.

Chargers with 2 AA and 2 AAA (ie 4 batteries) were on special at all Tandy and Dick Smith for $10. The batteries were about 1300mA. I bought loads and gave them as presents.
I think it's shocking the low rate of rechargeable battery use in Aus. Obviously the shop would prefer people to keep buying new 'disposable' batteries. But for the sake of the environment rechargeables should be the prefered type just as CF lights are.
Buy while it's on offer.
Also get GP rechargeables from toys are us for $4 for 2 AAs or AAAs.
