Pretty decent price for your every day radio you want sitting around the workplace,

Normally $60-$70 from JB-HIFI and other places.

I haven't owned a product made by Bush in over a decade as I considered them crap. Are they still crap or have they improved?

  Generally speaking I believe they have improved. I purchased this product for my grandpa a while back. It isn't too bad, not the best but for the price not too bad. I paid $38 from the good guys about 2 - 3 months ago.
  
  I think it is a fairly standard price for the product if you look around and could easily get them down to this price with a bit of haggling.
