    • +2

      I'd consider a bargain i5 too!

      • Another vote for a deal on an i5 NUC please

        • +1 for the i5!!!

        • @voolish: +1 for a current model i5 NUC

    Again this weird payment conditions.

    • +3

Looks like they've got cash flow issues.

    • +1

I agree, what is wrong with traditional payment methods?

      • They lose money on anything thats not a bank transfer? All these tech shop companies with slim margins appear to do this.

I like it as an option rather than it being built in to sticker price.

        • +6

I agree, though the question arises why they don't offer CC payment option with a surcharge.

So you would neg a $10 iphone deal with the condition of DD only? It's up to the retailer to set the terms of payment if you don't like it move on :/ No need to neg!

  • please do a deal on the i3 version

  • Please do a deal on the i3 or i5 version thanks.

Celeron version, only $32 cheaper, plus bank transfer which is harder to hide from the wife.
On the plus side, its computer parts land which has been there forever.

Take the cash down to the bank?

      • +2

        Who has cash these days?

        • +2

          Who has cash these days?

anyone who doesn't want to pay ~2.5% to credit card companies.

        • +1

But this comes with a HDD and RAM ?
Doesn't seem like a bad deal.

Picture appears to be the slim version. I believe this is actually the fatter version.

    • +2

yes, slim version only support mSATA, this 750G HDD is apparently not

Doh, just bought the barebone version yesterday from them….. They should have told me! Damn people making money and don't care about customer service & satisfaction.

    • You should have asked, I've asked before and they're always happy to hint towards any upcoming offers.

      • -1

I did ask, they said no sales….. Then BAM they do a sale today.

Neg me all you want, but I've been to shops which would actually tell me "oh you are getting that, we are going to have a sale really soon, you may want to wait".

        • +4

Here's an idea… call them and ask them to refund you the difference.

Also try to be nice and rather than saying I didn't get this (negative), why don't you say would be super nice and do this for me (positive).

No one likes a whinger, if you don't believe me look at your comment votes.

    WTF NUC?

  • the picture is incorrect.

this version only has ONE usb 3.0 port on the front .

    • The picture is of the back though (which does have 2 USB ports)

      • Hmmm that picture is of the front.
On the Celeron version there is only 1 USB on the front.

        • Yes, so it is. I thought it was the rear as it shows an audio jack and this model has the audio jack at the rear but it must be another model entirely.

After the purchase of a $200 Dell laptop (with i3 2.3Ghz CPU, 4Gb RAM, 500Gb HDD) from BigW clearance sale, this deal just feel pale in comparison.

    • Haha, me too. Thanks for the reminder.

    • which one? specs?
