Not too bad if you want a 'ready to go' solution.
however, for those willing to tinker, just a little, you can get a Mahoooosive amount of processor for about the sameLook for things with the Ryzen 7945HX in
https://nanoreview.net/en/cpu-compare/intel-core-i7-1255u-vs…
TDP (PL1)
12-15 W (configurable) vs 55-75 W (configurable)12th gen is plenty fast for web based work and you save heaps (1/4) on power.
that's true, the Intel has a massivley better GPU also for light gaming!…
With a 60 Watt consimption delta if on full blast 24/7, savings of $100+ a year may be the consideration to go with this one!BUT, if productivity is the main 'thing' - the extra cores on the HX may well be worth the extra power consumption and be frugal with sleep mode if it's not being used!
Or you just get an m4 mini from edu store for roughly the same price that's far faster than 12th gen at 75w at 1/3rd the wattage. 256gb but if all you really do is web based work then it won't matter, worse case you get a portable ssd.
I had the M4 Mini, good performance, but I hate MacOS and the small storage size of 256GB, I ended up selling the M4 Mac Mini and got the Ryzen 8845HS, awesome performance and windows is so much easier to use for my use case.
I am sorry but this is just not a good deal at all
Just looked up a comparable Beelink on Amazon, Ryzen 7 5825U $599 but with 500GB SSD:
https://www.amazon.com.au/Beelink-4-75GHz-Processor-Integrat…
If you look a little harder, you can get a Ryzen 7 5825U mini pc with 32GB RAM & 1TB SSD for $433.30.
or even if they're an intel person - https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B0DCVRDK75/ - Intel Core i9-12900HK 14 Cores/20 Threads -32GB+1TB for $655.99
Showing $599 for the 5825U for me.
Now sure what went wrong with your approach, but it's currently showing as $433.30 on 3xCamel as well.
i went with a Mini iTX motherboard - https://www.amazon.com.au/MINISFORUM-BD795i-SE-Barebone-PCIe…
at $639, a little more tech noggin' needed, but the performance is quite nuts for the $$, but far cheaper than this for a built system!
Yea nah.
