    American Tourister DeLite Carry-On Spinner

$39.95 for versatile and durable luggage!

360 degree spinner wheels | Ergonomic, extendable handle

Incredibly lightweight at 3.63kg | Internal organiser pockets

    3.63kg is a killer for a carry-on luggage!

    Yes too heavy. Pass

  • What is normal weight for a carry on case?

    • less than 2KG is good.. have seen antler at 1.9kg

    Yeah too heavy,
Carryon allowable weight 7kg (that's more than half)
There are carryon around 1.4kg - 1.7kg (with 10yrs to 15yrs warranty, what with the 12month warranty on these? I thought American Tourister have 10yrs.)

Got an Antler one that's 2.4kg for $137 in Myer recently. This seems a common weight/price for Samsonite and Monsac too. Seems to be two sizes for carry on - 105 and 115 cm (that's some kinda cubed measurement). Diffent airlines require/allow different sizes so go for a 105cm if you want to be sure to get on with hassle.

2 vs 4 wheels - 4 wheels you can stand it upright and wheel it (in queues/aisles), but the wheels feela bit fragile on rough surfaces when trailing it behind you. 2 wheels isn't so manouverable, but tracks well when trailed and handles rough surfaces better.

I found a small pocket near the top handy for boarding passes, sunnies, phone etc good. Also a bigger pocket for iPad on the outside. Don't be too fussed about how durable it is as it'll be with you the whole time, unlike checked it luggage. I did find not many have a high enough skid on the leading side to take the brunt of escalators and stairs.

  • Good deal for a branded bag.

Doesn't have the usual 5 year warranty it seems.

Warranty will not cover airline damage.

    Weight is a neg.
