  • Has 15 years warranty .. impressive

  • Darn! I've been looking for a decent carry-on. The only trouble is, some airlines' restriction is 49 cm whle others are 51 (at 52 this is stretching it.) This is a fantastic price though for great luggage.

    • Which airlines?

  • Even with the discount, I think strandbags is pricey, although this particular bag seems like a good deal. I recently bought an antler 4 wheeled, hard shelled carry on bag weighing 2.7kg (which is a pretty good weight for a hard shelled bag) for $90 delivered at www.bagstogo.com.au. Found it via a shopbot search. In general, you can find better deals elsewhere.

  • great price though for on board I prefer collapseable ultralight duffles (@ couple hundred grams)… even this Flylight takes a precious 1.7kg out of the 7kg-10kg onboard allowance (depending on airline)

    • Do you by any chance know of a decent quality wheeled one that is within cabin bag size limits?

  • The one in this posting is within ALL airlines cabin baggage restrictions except perhaps volaris (crazy new limits).

I have one and have flown air asia, airasia x, scoot, tiger, myanmar and jetstar with it.

    The 1.7kg flylite in the posting is 52cm x 34cm x 20cm.

    Tiger is 54cm x 28cm x 23cm
    Airasia and Airasia X is 56cm x 36cm x 23cm
    Scoot is 54cm x28cm x23cm
    Jetstar is 56cm x36cm x23cm

The flylite is also available in black.

    • Errr scoot is 54x38x23 which is fine for this bag.

    • you're on the money, it seems to comply with most airlines (didn't check all). There's a great list available here (doesn't have Qatar and Etihad but we can easily compile that too):
