Similar to the Velocity E-Store where you can log into your account before completing purchase - Singapore Airlines appears to be offering a similar service with Krisflyer points.

Velocity earn rates are higher for some reatailers, lower for others (See comparison below), and their retailer list appears to be more australian friendly, but the Krisflyer stores may appeal for those stores not listed on velocity. It also depends how you value Krisflyers to Velocity points.

Apple
Velocity $1 = 2 points
Kris US$10(AUD$10.60) = 25 points = ~2.35 points/AUD

ASOS
Velocity $1=2 points
Kris US$10(AUD$10.60) = 23 points = ~2.16 points/AUD

Ebay
Velocity $1=2 points
Kris US$10(AUD$10.60) = 19 points = ~1.79 points/AUD

Strawberry net
Velocity $1 = 2 points
Kris US$10(AUD$10.60) = 12 points = ~1.13 points/AUD

    But it says points are calculated per $10 usd spend , so if you spend say $9, you get no points ?

    Does this mean you can't earn cashrewards as you be going via krisflyer website.

    OK, Today I was credited 127 Krisflyer points - no points for speed - that's close to a month to get these!

    Anyway, it looks like it works on per dollar not per $10 block.
