Another ‘cheapest ever seen deal’ in 24 hours - on a roll :)
Got an “exclusive” newsletter offer from these guys but the code seems generic enough so have posted. Price on their site shows as $219, but once you apply the code EOFYVIP, it comes down to $169. Interestingly the email says free pickup or plus postage, but even with the postage option selected the price stays the same :) Without the code applied it was showing $13.86 postage for me.
Tested on the red one but doesn’t work. Prefer the black anyway.
Modem comes with a free DCS-931L Wireless N cloud camera via redemption. I think this was originally meant to have expired end of this month but looks like D-Link have extended to end of September - see redemption link below.
Have spent the entire morning researching ADSL2+ modem routers for bro’s new digs, and we’ve picked out this one to be best of bunch in terms of price/speed/features/futureproofability. Has good reviews (including editors choice) on goodgearguide/pcworld. Lots of writeup on whirlpool also a few honourable mentions on Ozbargain.
Cheapest I’ve seen it was $179 in this expired MSY deal. Looking at current pricing, went though the usual aggregators - staticice, getprice, myshopping, etc - next cheapest deal was $209 ($194 + $15 shipping) from MegaBuy. Ebay cheapest is $207, but with eBay purchases you can’t claim the camera as per D-Link T&Cs (otherwise was thinking of getting one in tomorrows eBay sale).
