For 4 of them, $16.67 delivered. The more you order, the more you save.
These are (with postage) $5.68 a battery. The Hobbyking ones, when you order say 12, come to $33.85, or $2.82 a battery. The same 12 from DS is $58.35 ($4.86 each).
I like the Eneloops don't get me wrong, but for this price the Hobbyking's win for sure. Although delivery can be a little slow.
Last night i bought 7 X Dick Smith AA NiMH LSD 2200mah 4 battery packs at $1.85 each + delivery (28 batteries 46c each) from Dick Smith came to $17.90 delivered. Now that's a nice deal must win for sure. That deal is still current.
Obviously they're rebadged of another brand, any idea who though?
I still put a lot more trust into Eneloop and HK's than DS's ones.
Don't know why the government is going all warm and fuzzy with renewable power. If only they tapped into the OzBargain community, which must have millions of spare, charged eneloops stashed away (many forgotten) in our homes. Surely we could power the country if we put all these forgotten and surplus eneloops together!
Anyone tried Ikea's LSD NiMH batteries? Only $6 for 4. Just bought a pack to test, got 2200mAh after conditioning. I don't like the fact that it is made in China though.
Any reason why did didn't go for the DS LSD AA 2200mah only $1.85 for 4 on a clearance sale at Dick Smith?. Chuck of a heap of them in the cart makes for a pretty damn good deal.

Dicksmith delivers again - I ordered Eneloops on 21 June 2014 and have been on hold 3 times for more than 30 mins (hands free speaker phone comes in handy).
One agent says - order has been sent
Another agent (after placing me on hold for 30 mins) - can't get access to the person in the warehouse
Another agent says - will ring you back tomorrow (didnt call back)
Startrak says - label created but item not sent
Email from DSE says - item sent
Yet another agent says - will ring you back at the end of today (still no return call)
