But thought of just posting this in case anyone is on the lookout for a decent 60" TV. I couldn't find it cheaper anywhere else. TGG have them listed at $2698

I believe the CMR of 800 for this TV is equivalent to 200 Hz. TGG markets this TV as a 200 Hz TV although specs on the Samsung website does not specify this value
Yes you are correct

Um, you can get a top-of-the-line 60" Samsung F8500 plasma for less than this.
what would be the main difference with the plasma and LED for the samsungs if they were the same series ?
Where? No F series in stock and there is no H series plasmas being sold that I know of.
Anyone know the best deal for 60" LED or plasma without 3d feature? DickSmith have this Panasonic TH60A430 for $1280 after 20% disc. Is this a good price?
I think that is a good price but could not find any reviews
Thanks navarch. Any 3d-tv ozbargainer who uses the 3d feature a lot? Thinking to get 60" with price range $1000-$1300. Can only get second hand one with 3d feature with this price range. Question is, if you were me, would you get second hand 2-3year old 3d tv (some sell with extended warranty in gumtree), or a brand new standard 2d tv? Heard some people regret paying more for 3d feature they dont use a lot. Thanks in advance guys.
I'd go with the new 2D, fresh tv panel and brand new.
How many shows or games integrate 3D anyway? Don't think you'll use it much.I'd get a new 2D TV. 3D and for that matter SMART is bit of a marketing gimmick IMO. In saying that it is becoming hard to find a good TV without these gimmicks
My brother just bought the 60 inch 200MHz LG for $2500
If you like your sport/action movies and not set on Samsung then perhaps this is a better TV for you..
