  • Nice performance / warranty / price…

  • good price, better if have high capacity choices

  • Thanks OP, just ordered one.

Taken me a long time to getting around to an SSD…

    • +2

      You wont regret it…

Intel is the best brand when it comes to SSD. Lenghty warranty just shows how confident they are in the product.

My work laptop has an X25-M, still alive and kicking!

    • +1

      WOW!

Delivered today. Just cloned my C:/ drive, and booted up.

WOW! Why did I wait so long.

      That's all.

      • +1

        No actually, that's not all.

Now opening up big excel files in no time at all - this is zippy!

        What a difference!

        Thanks OP

I am just RMAing my intel 320 series 160gb which lasted less than 2 years before dying.

Have to say Intel warranty is good though…

  • Would definitely recommend going sad but would have to advise that you may want to think about getting a larger ssd for programs/games

    • +12

Just remember, once you go sad, had will seem bad ;-)

    • +3

      Cheer up matey :)
      Dont go sad :(

  • Ordered 1. Thanks

  • i add a $5 usb stick and shipping goes to $7,20

i like how they dont want you buying more…

  • Oooo.

Recently grabbed an EVO for my PC but think I might get this for my laptop as a boot drive and optibay my current 500gb.

$69 is a great price for a higher end consumer 120gb SSD.

  • Thanks - I was looking around for an SSD yesterday so this is perfectly timed!

  • any downsides of this being OEM ?

    • +1

Same warranty, the retail version has a 3.5" convertor for desktop use.

  • +1

Must resist.. Must Resist.. Must RESIST …. MUST RESIST.

    Bought….

    • joins the pile of SSDs i have on my desk… one day they will be useful

      • +4

        Everyday SSDs are getting cheaper.

It's like keeping money on your desk, only SSDs depreciate faster.

  • +2

Would really like similar deal for 256GB SSD…

  • Grabbed one for an older laptop.
    Thanks.

  • -3

    Thanks OP! bought 3

  • I have very little knowledge of SSD's. How is this deal compared to the usual Amazon ones we see on OzBargain. Also, would I be able to plug this straight into an extra bay in my laptop?

  • bugger, by the time I received my activation email, they are now out of stock!!

    spewing.

    • It's still in stock, price has just gone back up to $99

    • Same here, email activation killed this for me

  • Anyone know if i can convert this into an external HD?

  • Damn missed out :(

  • +4

    Booo expired already!

    That isn't 7:00AM tomorrow.

    • +3

yea what gives? its not even out of stock

      • +4

they dont wanna sell any more at $69

  • +1

JUST GOT 2X SSD at $69! (8:20 pm)

Please check again! i think they may re-listed them back up.

    • $99 for me… Email activation killed the deal for me, too… bummer, unlike other OzBargain stuff I buy, I actually needed 2 of there…

  • +1

Hm that's odd bought 2x SSd free shipping, paid with paypal at 820pm ($138), came back here to let everyone know, went back and clicked on the centrecom link, and they are back on $99.

  • +1

    Woo I got 2x$69 SSD

    • When? How?

  • damnit i needed one of these back to 99

  • Too late
I need one as well for my old laptop.

  • This is a scam, they entice you with a good price, then quickly up the price and remove free postage.

This is bait and switching at its worst.

    • -2

You're the worst type of customer an entrepreneur or manager can face. If you miss a sale, or we refuse to sell a product any longers its mostly because the we ACTUALLY hit the sale quota or were ACTUALLY out.

A sale is a sale, if you miss it bad luck.

      • +6

you need to upgrade to a SSD to view deals earlier

        • IOPS definitely not fast enough to catch the deal.

        • -2

IOPS are decent for an SSD…

I've had this debate before. I don't think much of your massive sense of entitlement. Going by the up votes, a considerable number of people got the deal. If the store decides they want to sell X quantity at the promotion price, it is entirely up to them. That is not bait and switch.

      • Shouldn't the store then ADVERTISE that it's a limited quantity?

        • What's considered 'limited'?

        • Scroll down to the bottom of the page.

In any case, if you don't believe that is prominent enough, the ACCC defines bait advertising as:

Bait advertising takes place when an advertisement promotes certain (usually ‘sale’ prices) on products that are not available or available only in very limited quantities.

With 87+ votes, it would seem to me quite a few people got the deal. I myself took too long to decide but I would hardly call that very limited stock. Most of the time retailers advertise WHILE STOCKS LAST, it is to create a sense of urgency as a sales tactic.

    Good on you @garetz

This is a scam, they entice you with a good price, then quickly up the price and remove free postage. This is bait and switching at its worst.

You are a legend, despite many negs you got there but it happened exactly as you mentioned ; it supposed to expire tomoz but price went up, no free shipping right after posting

    • See above comment.

      Hi pal,

Just to clear things up, we sold all our online stock. This was an online exclusive sale (stated on the product page), so once our warehouse stock ran out it is either removed or goes back to its original price if any of our 9 stores still have stock. Our Dusk till Dawn deals end at 7am or once stock (online) runs out.

      Regards,
      Centre Com

      • -1

You might want to put stuff like that on the sale pages

        • +1

Hi bentan77, yes we include a "Sold Out" stamp on the Dusk till Dawn sales page as well or it gets removed entirely. Most people go directly to the product page through sites like OZ Bargain hence the confusion.

          Regards,
          Centre Com

Hi, you had online stock, I checked it myself I added to buy with original price to make sure and came up with $9 shipment so it was available and everybody knows
Anyhow lets leave it, reputation comes and goes, I wouldn't call it Centerscumbags but it was not Australian way to get things done that way, have a good time

  • Outgoing model?

  • When will these be shipped? Oh wait. I just checked my emails and saw the tracking number etc. Nice.

  • Received mine today.

Got mine yesterday. Glad I bought Intel because they provide an ssd alignment tool that works on win server. None of the normal free alignment tools would do a server os. Its called the Intel windows XP ssd alignment tool BTW. Worked fine on win2k8r2 on my micro server.
