    Dont expect 200Mbs my dlinks (the fastest on the Australian Market) peek out at 38Mbs transfer just fast enough for HD video

    average street price for 200MBS twin packs is around $200 to $230 (I paid $196 shipped for the Dlink 303 Pack), so it is not a bad deal for $160 with postage. There is a new chipset out that promises 1000Mbs over power but if reviews of the Belkin model are anything to go on, they are no faster in real world situations that these, in some benchmarks I have seen the Belkin 1000Mbs EOP perform much worst than the 200Mbs tested side by side. Speeds I am getting with Power over Ethernet beat the hell out of what I was getting with Pre-N wireless even with 96% signal strength.

    Hitech sales is excellent so far. Ordered last night, received a call this morning to confirm delivery details. Also chat about the product pros and cons.
    Will post back here once I have the units running. Using it for streaming high-def stuff.

    Still thinking if I need the new popcornhour media server or not if I have wire speed available via these boxes for streaming.

      was delivered this morning by TNT. Received con note by email. HiTech is efficient. Setup was easy, right now streaming Standard Def avi to XBMC and working perfectly. Will stress test and post back here with results. Very happy so far.

    Connected this…. got about 5-7MB/s so about 40-60Mbps for the 200Mbps units….

    So it's not 100M or 200M … but able to stream properly…

    I am using these on my new Western Digital Live (with LAN port). Plays the 1080p mkv from my NAS (11GB file). Awesome combination. Wrote a review on umart for the WD TV Live as well.
