Not sure how long this is going to last, but out of three paid Android apps just purchased, two were not charged and gave back coins , the other one deducted coins and charged for the app. There seems to be errors in the way Amazon calculates free coins.

The two apps that gave back coins and did not charge:
SkyMap

Paperless Draw
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ARDDC3W

You may need to have coins for this to work.

Maybe best to be a little cautious , just bought Flowpaper, and was charged $1.99 without any free coins. If anyone finds any more apps that work, please post which apps work. It may also be random.

Screenshot of receipt is here http://imgur.com/qwJuIBW and this may have expired already as fryandlaurie posts below, as well as two apps i purchased were not free, so this is being marked as expired. Try at your own risk.

  • which two were free? The above two link you gave was not free

    • When purchased, there was no charge and the free coins were added to my coin balance.

      • But it says it only gives back 60 coins.

        • Yeah, on the receipt it comes up as $1.99 coins and then promotions -$1.99 grand total 0 coins. The bonus 60 coins are added to the coins balance.

Tried paperless draw. Was charged 199 coins. Probably fixed by Amazon now.

    • Sorry to hear that, did you get the correct amount of free coins back?

Not expired. I just tried the two mentioned apps and was not charged coins as well. Using US address.

    Got 120 coins free

    • Well done, and was this using the web appstore as opposed to the Amazon app?

I'm pretty sure this was not a deal. It would have come off your $5 promotional credit from another of the recent deals. Explains why 2 x $1.99 apps were free, with the third app paid with a combination of promotional credit and coins.

LOL think you hit the nail on the head there brawndo. As most would of gotten the $5 free credits from previous deal.
