Please add to title that these are Ex Lease units only $469 normally $499. So in theory USED and REFURBISHED units. They are NOT NEW.

It's also at least 4 years old, but what do you expect for $469??

      Thanks.. Updated

  • Worth keeping an eye on Ebay if your looking at this, I picked one up a year ago for around $350 ( auction so might have got lucky ) but obviously didn't get the peace of mind you might get from an online retailer. Still had absolutely no problems as yet…… Touch wood.

  • I think $399 (at most) would be a better buy.

  • I followed the link and got a pop-up: join today and get 10% off your first order. That would have brought it down to $422.10. If you don't get the pop-up, try clearing your cookies.

  • is the RAM upgradable?

    • -1

      Yes, up to 8gb.

      • Macbook only does up to 4gb max.. Macbook Pro does up to 8 or 16, depending which model it is.

        • Refer to third table in http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MacBook, which says up to 16 gb ram for the mid-2010 model. And if you look at online forums, you will notice that it is possible. And I happened to have successfully upgraded my mother's one to 8gb ram using ram from my dead mbp.

        • I also upgraded a model from this era to 8.

  • I'd like to point out that this Mac only just meets system requirements for OS X 10.9, I'm not too sure for what 10.10 will require when it's released or available in beta, but keep this in mind for a computer that was released back in 2010.

Actually, I've checked out the models and there never was a 2.4GHz C2D White Unibody with 9400M graphics (only pre unibody has this spec). It must be 320M graphics..

50 bucks might be a bargain for a 4 year old second hand laptop with dated specs. $469…not sure if serious…

wow $470 for a laptop with 2gb ram.

But I guess having a apple logo on it justifies that.

  • I'm not negging because buying outdated technology is the problem (This would just crawl with the latest software), but because you can get used examples with better specs on Ebay for less. Sorry OP.

  • Was a solid laptop when I used to use it. They used to come with 1gb ram standard and were slow as anything. Expensive paperweight though..

  • Is that one of the White MacBooks that they stopped producing in early 2009?

Nothing personal OP but the website is quite wrong.
