I haved used this site many of times before without any problems. Shipping to Australia takes about 12 working days.
"Shipping rates are cheaper than Amazon."
Hmm, I don't think that, US$99 for P&H when ordering over $300 (Via UPS Express devilvery). Amazon (UK) charge Pound2.49 then Pound1.09 per item (for DVDs).
For me at least Amazon UK is cheaper for P&H (and are quick).
Deep Discount international P&H charges are:
"UPS Worldwide Express Delivery:
"Order Total Shipping Charge
Up to $25.00 $5.95
$25.01 - $50.00 $8.95
$50.01 - $100.00 $12.95
$100.01 to $150.00 $16.95
$150.01 to $200.00 $23.95
$200.01 to $250.00 $29.95
$250.01 to $300.00 $37.95
More than $300.00 $99.95"
Also be sure to compare prices before buying as some things I looked at were more expensive then the local prices in Australia.
It all depends on what you buy and how much you spend. Amazon charge per shippment then per item deepdiscount charges per dollar value. Yes you should always check the prices locally before you buy from overseas. US to Aud dollar is better than UK to Aud.
Happy dvd shopping.
I have tried to deal with these guys before, they claim my St.George Visa Debit card's billing address is different from the one I entered, I double checked with the bank and it wasn't, that afternoon they also removed the Item I tried to purchase, which was less than 1/2 the price every other online store was selling it for including amazon. Hmmm Suspect.
It's not much extra but the item I wanted to get is just over the cheapest shipping mark. I was hoping since the total was 25% less I wouldn't have to pay it all. Unfortunately the shipping is calculated on the before 25% off total
I mainly buy box sets online, but big ticket items like these its cheaper for me to get it from amazon.co.uk, or ezydvd, and I dont have to worry about bluray region codes although I am hoping the new popcorn hour C200 mediatank when released later this month will play all region blu-rays.
Presumably these are Region 1 DVDs?
Has anyone used the site? Unfortunately there's no specific box for an Australian state as it blanks out when you select Australia as the country. (or anything other than America as far as I can see) Would it still find it's way to the correct address if you use the Address #2 box?
