the AAA is a 2x4 standard pack, the AA is the tropical 8 pack but both at the same $19.96. you have AA in title and picture but the AAA link please fix.

Sure, the La Crosse RS-700 and RS-1000 are considered by many to be extremely good chargers. For it's charging features, charging rates, refresh options etc etc.
The RS-720 is the newest version of these chargers (RS-700 and RS-1000 are the same charger with different accessories).
RS-720 includes the new processor, chargers faster and cooler than the other 2 older models. Like the older models it also shows real time data on each of the individual screens like: charge rate, mAh, voltage etc.
These chargers are capable of charging up to 4 AA or AAA at the same time or separate times with custom charging settings for each battery.

it's a matter of timing - if this deal was reported and/or instead the other deal was updated earlier then this situation wouldn't arise :)
