How do I use this? I'm not a team member, nor do I know anyone working at Myer… will they still honour the discount?
It's definitely just another sales tactic. I've been into Parramatta and Sydney CBD stores for this event in previous years. Both stores had copies of the voucher on every spare surface. When I handed over the voucher I had printed from OzBargain the sales assistant genuinely said "Oh, you actually have one of these? Don't worry we are automatically giving everyone the discount today".
What? It doesn't start until the 18th.

I went to Myers Eastgardens today. They told me I had to become a Myer One member to receieve the discount. I guess that's what Family & Friends means.

Great, I am after the Breville Ikon (quiet kettle) which is currently on special for $99 but says you can use this 10% ontop of items already on sale. Down to just under $90. Every ittle bit helps. Thanks for posting!
I have the Breville Ikon kettle and I love it, super quite & super fast heating. You can even try your luck at The Good Guys & let them know how you can get it for $90 at Myer and see if they'll beat it. Worth a try.
We have this kettle too, paid $80 a few years ago. It does heat very fast, but it's not quiet at all, it's really loud cause of the metal construction, stainless steel kettles are always really loud.
I can't believe you say it's super quiet…?We've got the red one, and the same for the toaster.
