So how much is a Galaxy S4 at Costco?

    $6 off huggies

    PRICE in title

$6 off does not mean it can't be bought for cheaper elsewhere…

  • The only two I recognise the pricing on are the finish tablets and the Toilet paper and nether of them seem to be a particularly good price. Toilet paper is that price so often it might as well be the standard price and am sure I have seen the Finish tablets for 33cents each plenty of times.

Still finding it hard to justify the 60 bucks a year membership fee. Will go and have a look. Maybe something there that will encourage me to fork it out.

Still finding it hard to justify the 60 bucks a year membership fee.

The only reason I joined was because of the free joining offer by AMEX before Xmas. Can't really justify renewing at the end of the year, haven't saved much… I find that the sale prices at Coles and Woolies are much cheaper than Costco.

    • get a bunch of mates together and "pool" the membership money together.

Really depends on how far you are from Costco. I live pretty near mine, so I get milk and free range eggs regularly as they are much cheaper. Free range eggs is 18 XL 1080g for about $5.50 vs $7+ for 700-ish grams at Colesworth. Zymil is $0.50 cheaper too.

Plus there's always other random crap that's cheaper like tray of peeled tomatoes, salt etc. that's cheaper. If you have a sweet tooth then there's heaps of junk food at very good prices. They have some nice clothing as well, and the SO bought a Kate Spade wallet for $30-40 off too.

Of the things I regularly buy I found that Costco was almost 50% cheaper in unit price, so unless I want to wait for the occasional discount I do quite a bit of shopping at Costco.

Best part is that if anything you buy fail after the first 7 or 30 days, you can still return it instead of arguing with the store to get your money back.

They also offer a full refund of their membership so the most you'd lose is the time you spent there.

  • There are apparently other ways, though haven't used it since Qld store isn't open yet. Get a member to buy you gift $10 cards and use only one for each shop, pay the rest in cash, according to http://lifehacker.com/5852788/how-to-shop-at-costco-and-sams…

    • Can you actually buy Costco gift cards in Australia and do this trick?
