Guys, 1st of all this model comes with last gen GT750M GPU that has been superseded to new model with GT850M which costs $1,700 @ Umart.
(Up to you guys to decide whether it's worth the savings)
Nevertheless, this seems to be a good price for such specification, especially those looking for desktop replacement with >17" display. (Blu-ray writer is a plus too)

I know there are cheaper options with similar specs on smaller displays, eg. 14" or 15" laptop but someone out there might prefer >17" for better movie/gaming experience on laptop.

Binglee currently has it for $1,479 and if lucky you might find one at Officeworks for price beat but they're on clearance hardly any stocks at all.
Swap the slow 5400RPM hardrive out for an SSD and you got yourself a half decent laptop… Doesn't really seem like much of a bargain to me tho
