Brawndo , It's Got Electrolytes !
It got what the body needs!
(I should really watch that again, so good!)
Bought some to keep me hydrated while on the couch.
That's exactly what I get. No more money on sports drinks.
I make my own… Honey + orange/lemon juice + pinch of salt. Tastes nice, all natural and is cheap too after finding out the lab at uni sells honey for $3/500g and citrus from the garden :)
Funny how I see lots of people take along all those fake artificial food while my morning tea on the saddle consists of muesli bars, bananas and peanut butter sandwiches… However I do take one or two tablets and wrap them up in cling film for longer rides.
what uni sells honey???
At UQ in the QBI lab where they keep bees for research and the byproduct is just honey :)
Another place for cheap honey in Brisbane is Hillbrook Rd in Brookfield. $4/500g or $7/1kg. You gotta ride up that +20% incline though!
thats fantastic!
cheers
That sounds convenient.
Gosh - beat me to posting this deal :-)
Ah well I got my order in before that.
Troy Lee Design Jerseys can be had 79% off!
Are the pyjama pants that the downhillers seem to love these days on special too? :)
Don't believe a single RRP on CRC.
Then you haven't been into enough local bike stores in Australia. Some of these RRPs look cheap in comarison.
Ordered a few things from these guys the last time they had the free shipping offer. Was very impressed. Arrived faster than expected and well packed!
Thanks op scored 2x helly hansen crew tops came to $40 each. Nice ski base layers.
Hmmm… actually in my excitement it was actually 60 each oh well
Great! I was looking for some winter road cycling pants - any recommendations?
After trying a few I like the "Funkier" brand. There are a few option in the clearance section.
Thanks, grabbed a pair of new tyres and tubes
Best puncture protection tyre available for $40 http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/au/en/schwalbe-marathon-p…
Yes they are great but heavy as hell. I got them before and they weighed like 900g each tyre. Makes going uphill a struggle.
i use these, brilliant! about 4,000km with no punctures so far
Want to buy one of these: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/au/en/giordana-frc-windpr…
Not exactly sure what I'll use it for.
you could use the XXXL's as 2 side-by-side sleeping bags!
Can anyone recommend a good multi tool?
I can, but it really depends on what you're using it for and just how much you're prepared /comfortable to fix out on the road or trail. This is all just my opinion and experience (and assumes you already have a puncture kit with tyre levers)…
Road
This will get you out of about 80% of the trouble. Tighten anything, adjust your gears. Or set your limit screws to a rideable gear if your gear cable breaks.
The next 15% will probably involve fixing a snapped chain. One of these will do the job nicely. But you’ll also need to carry a spare chain link for that to be helpful.
The next few % will involve fixing a wheel with a broken spoke, not something most people can do, best with a specific spoke key for the wheels you're using.
MTB
Out on the trail, a long way from home. No idea, I’m sure there are people who lug one of these around.
Hey guys, I'm trying to get some swimwear but the code does not get me any discount:

Any idea why? Does it work for you?
Cock jocks are not a winter item. 20% off is for winter sale items.
