  Just joined for my wife but you don't get any email or confirmation that you are now eligible for the double status credits offer. I wonder how you can check if its gone through or not?

    Don't think so. I believe this was a promo targeted at Virgin Atlantic members since they have now stopped flying to Australia. You could always try calling the membership contact centre and asking.
