For those of you with stylus enabled devices such of those who took advantage of recent Note 10.1 2014 deals you may find this interesting.
Papyrus allows you to take handwritten notes on your Android device using either an active pen (e.g. Samsung S Pen), passive stylus, or your finger. The vector graphics engine keeps your notes beautiful at any zoom level and on any device, while the simple and intuitive user interface allows you to take notes quickly and efficiently!
Current "premium" in-app purchases and the discounted price:
• PDF Import - Easily write, draw, and markup on PDFs with all the powerful features available with a standard note. Also includes highlighter tool! $2.69
• Tool Pack - Adds a highlighter tool, a "true" eraser tool (erase parts of strokes), shape tools, and a text tool $1.61
• Cloud Services - Backup/restore and export notes as PDFs to cloud storage providers Dropbox and Box $1.61
Updated version allows free trials of features, just gave PDF import a go and it is amazing. Far better than S-Note. Imported PDFs remain in the PDF state and even after marking over the text, highlighting etc after exporting you can still select the original text and copy/search as you could prior to adding handwritten notes.
Many love Lecture Notes but I suggest giving Papyrus a try with the free trial of premium features and buy now at half price if you love it half as much as I do.
