  • will these work on a 5S without the warning message ?

    • Good qsn to ask from DavidRJW :)

    • @jv

That's a good question. I cant really say yes or not right now, but so far we have not had any complaints. But for $0.99c delivered what more can you ask for.

      • If the warning messages comes up or it does not charge properly it aint even worth 99c.
I have found some nice flat cables on ebay for $3 with no warning messages

        • I have found some nice flat cables on ebay

I ordered a couple of those but will give this a try too.

        • which site is it bros, is it like genuine charging or take long time to charge?

        • I ordered mine from here

Again, ask youself, if you are afford to buy $1000 phone, why do you want to risk your phone with $0.99 cable.

    • +5

      What is the risk?

    • +2

Probably because most of us love a bargain :D

    • And what if it was for your $200 second hand iPad!?

      • +1

You got an ipad 4 for 200?

        • +2

2 hour return drive… But yeah, the Mrs did!

ask youself, if you are afford to buy $1000 phone

I saved up to buy a $1000 phone by saving on cables and accessories posted here on Ozbargain.

    • They are fine

I dont think these deals are any good. Most 3rd party cables have the warning which prevents from charging/syncing. Not worth the risk.

    • Not worth the risk.

      What risk?
I've always received a refund or replacement when I've had a problem with items I've bought online.

  • +1

@WNK Thanks for posting this deal, we've been so jam packed with everything else we even forgot to post it on Ozbargain!

Limit 1 per customer, if you purchase more then 1, the difference will be refunded.

    • Does it support IOS7? Most of the 3rd party one don't

  • Shows as $3 when I log in…

    • Same here, $3. Did the Rep just jacked up the price?

    • +2

Never mind :) Just expired apparently; now I'm seeing $5.

Update: Now officially sold out. Thanks to everyone who was able to take part in this deal. We have exceeded the limit of 100 by 50 because we're so nice.

If you jacked the price up to $3 and continue selling them then they are not sold out.

Also a warning. Many of these fake cables will not charge properly IOS 7 devices especially ipads. Play it save and buy on ebay when you can dispute and receive a refund if cable does not work as expected.

      • Many of these fake cables will not charge properly

They're not fake cables, they are real cables. Just not Apple cables.

  • Where on the advertisement was the limit of 100?

    • -4

      @Aniki

It is listed on the product page itself as there is a limit of 100 and we have now surpassed it. Thank you.

You should put this info on your advert

He has. It's on the right hand side in the orange box!
And also note, that it wasn't the Rep that originally posted this deal!

        • @Snoop

          Thank you.

        • +1

I am pretty sure that 100 limit wasn't in the advert before nor was it in the product page when I initially checked it out. Take more care in creating the Advert next time Rep.

        • It wasnt there before.
It has been added since the issue has been raised.

        • @aniki_xiao

Sorry for that, we will take this into consideration. Thank you.

I've posted this above, but I still think it's worth reconsidering using cheap third party cable: http://www.zdnet.com/third-party-iphone-charger-may-be-respo…

We all go blaming Apple when shit like this happens, but maybe it's really the cheap Chinese cables that does it. I know the above story is about the charger, not the cable, but I think it's applicable.

  • +2

Every single one of my cheap Chinese cables no longer works for charging or syncing my iPhone or iPad. You guys buying are just throwing your money (however small) down the tube.

    • +2

real cables are also made in China

  • Yes but apple has now blocked all the non genuine cables. All mine worked for a year and then they all stopped at the same time after ios7 upgrade.

    • Incorrect.. Though you were close
Apple blocked non genuine cables made before ios 7.

You can now buy new non genuine cables that work perfectly with IOS 7

      I am using some atm

  • I'll only use apple certified cables now.. I got some cheap USB cables for my IPhone 5S and shorted out the logic board.. I went out and got a new laptop and did the same thing but lucky it was under warranty and the laptop was replaced..

    • I used a dodgy shorted iphone cable on my MacBook Pro but the MacBook Pro protected itself and turned off so no harm done if u got a good laptop :)

      • +1

This was a Apple MacBook Pro.. So nothing cheap about that…

  • +1

Mine arrived today, didn't work. Waste of time and $1
