It's been posted at least 5 times so far and deleted each time due to no stock.

Oh yeah didn't notice there's no "add to cart option" and only "check in store" which is a bit weird consdering it's an online only offer.

      • +24

I showed the Mgr the online screen that had the postage and click and collect option greyed out but still had the "check instore" option available for the item. I successfully argued that if its telling me to check instore than that is the price it is for instore purchase. Got one for $64.

        • Can't argue with that logic. Well done!

        • Well done, but the manager would have done it to get rid of you by the sounds of it. The size clearly states that it is an online offer and the location of stock feature is irrelevant to the price. Could you upload your receipt for those of us who're venturing in store please?

Good luck to those who pursue this and get the same luck (I'm off to try regardless).

Online only bikes reduced to just $47
All you have to do is pay 100% of the item price in shipping (To SE suburbs of Melbourne) and it's yours.
Buy a $79 bike for the measly price of $96!!!

    What a steal
    Good work Big W

Edit - That is with a helmet. Without I would only be paying $38 for shipping

now waiting for free ship coupon

$88 shipping for Mens Bike to WA, cheaper to buy it for full price in-store

  • +1

How much bike do you get for $47? I feel like it would be a pretty bad bike.

    • +3

Agreed, There has to be middle ground between dodgy department bikes and bike stores full of $2000 cycles for the lycra brigade,

      • Yeah you can get decent bikes (e.g. entry level Specialised models) from your local store starting around $500.

  • +4

The shipping kills most of the good deals. Kmart can post a bike for $10, Big W needs $88 for most of them.

  • Shame the LG RC689D VHS to DVD Recorder is out of stock online, $178 is at least a third cheaper than anywhere else for this pretty price-fixed product.
